Episode 164 - All About Kveik
In Episode 164 we dive into learning about a newer yeast to show up in American beers, the kveik yeast. We review the work of blogger Lars Garshol to find out about the history of the yeast and how he collected various yeast samples from around Norway in order to have it studied, analyzed and eventually commercialized here in the states. It is a fascinating story, and we only lightly touch on the content rich research papers and science. Plus we offer a lot of random beer talk as well. So grab a beer and enjoy the show!
