Book Recommendations
This is a book I still need to read. I have listened to Jeff Alworth on his podcast Beervana for many years and I enjoy hearing his take and knowledge on beer.
I was given this book (physical hardback version) as a gift many years ago, and even as a well experienced craft beer drinker, I was able to find a lot of good information and knowledge I did not know. A really good read for anyone new to craft beer.
On Ep166 I told the story behind how the Lagunitas Brown Shugga beer was born…basically a potential disaster that was turned into a great beer. I learned about this story by reading Tony Magee’s book, “So You Want to Start a Brewery?: The Lagunitas Story.” This book was published on Oct1, 2014 and according to Amazon, I purchased it on Apr 14, 2015. It is only about 225 pages and I read it completely on one of my flights to Israel.
